MEET THE DOCTOR
Jessiela Roberts, MD

Dr. Jessiela Roberts is a native of the island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, where she completed medical school at Trinity School of Medicine. She is a board-certified Family Practice Physician and completed her residency training at the UAMS Family Medicine program in Fort Smith. She went on to complete a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at the UAMS Hospice and Palliative program in Little Rock.
She practiced as a Primary Care attending physician with Mercy Clinic for several years before leaving to start fellowship training. She served in the capacity of Assistant Medical Director of Mercy Hospice and Palliative Care and also as an Assistant Medical Director with Peachtree Hospice. She was a clinical preceptor for Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine and is currently an Assistant professor for the UAMS Family Medicine Residency program in Fort Smith.
Dr. Roberts has a passion to serve patients with life-limiting illnesses, as she has seen through experience that quality holistic, multidisciplinary care can improve and prolong the life of patients with disabling diseases. Through the services Palliative Health Solutions offers, she aims to help support patients and their families as they navigate the challenges that come with serious illnesses. She values open communication and shared decision-making in helping patients to optimize their goals for improved health and wellness.
She is a mother of two, a practicing Christian, and a lover of all things medicine, laughter, the arts, family, and life. Her philosophy is strongly rooted in her belief that we should all be treated with dignity, kindness, and mutual respect as we work to improve the good of all humanity.
